Watch All Five Marvel Movies Leading Up to the Release of The Avengers

Many Marvel movie fans were already planning something like this with their collections of DVDs and Blu-Rays, but AMC is going one step further and offering an official marathon experience of all of the Marvel movies, leading to the midnight release of The Avengers.

That’s right, for a $40 ticket, starting at 11:30 a.m. on May 3, you’ll be able to watch Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger, and then you get to top it off with a midnight viewing of The Avengers.

At the moment, the package is only being advertised (and with tickets now on sale) for the following locations:

Boston Common 19 – Boston, MA
Burbank 16 – Burbank, CA
Downtown Disney 12 – Anaheim, CA
Aventura 24 – Aventura, FL
Empire 25 – New York, NY
Garden State 16 – Paramus, NJ
Downtown Disney 24 – Lake Buena Vista, FL
Metreon 16 – San Francisco, CA
Alderwood 16 – Lynnwood, WA
Tysons Corner 16 – McLean, VA

The Avengers, directed by Joss Whedon, is set to open May 4, 2012. The Avengers finds Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D. assembling the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes to pull the Earth back from the brink of disaster when an unexpected enemy threatens the planet. The film stars Chris Evans as Captain America, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk, Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Scarlett Johansson as the Black Widow, Clark Gregg and Cobie Smulders as S.H.I.E.L.D. agents Phil Coulson and Maria Hill, and Stellan Skarsgard as Dr. Selvig.
