In defiance of all logic, the first trailer we saw for G.I. Joe: Retaliation actually looked pretty good. Deciding to press their luck, another trailer is set to air during the Superbowl, and it has come to the web before the Big Game.

Joe: Retaliation is directed by John Chu, and stars Channing Tatum, Ray Park, Bruce Willis, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Adrianne Palicki, Ray Stevenson, Arnold Vosloo, Elodie Yung, Jonathan Pryce, Byun-hun Lee, RZA and D.J. Cotrona. Set-up by Zartan (posing as the President), the Joe’s must stop COBRA and clear their name while fighting their own government. G.I. Joe: Retaliation arrives June 29, 2012.

I read a funny comment on another site and just had to repeat it here:
“They ought to call this G.I. Joe: The Apology.”
I’m still bummed about the lack of Chris Eccleston. Even adding “The Rock” and Bruce Willis hasn’t dulled that.
But hey, ninja!
And I will say that the first movie was not worse than the source material.
Even taking into account massive chunks of ice that sink.
