Speeding Bullets: Wednesday, January 11, 2012

from the Comic Hero News staff
There’s a lot that happens in the world of superheroes everyday, and we at Comic Hero News don’t have the ability to write up a full story about everything, as much as we’d like to. So, we bring you Speeding Bullets – for all of those pieces of news that are fired our way that are worth noticing, but don’t merit a full story in their own right.

  • One of the first inter-book crossovers for the New 52 will be arriving for the Superman family. Over at Superman Homepage, Matt Idelson said to expect to see more crossover between Superman, Superboy and Supergirl in the coming year. Also, expect Action Comics to remain set in the past, and prepare to meet the New 52 version of the Silver Banshee.
  • Christos Gage took the time to discuss the “Hybrid” arc in Avengers Academy with Comic Book Resources.
  • To go along with yesterday’s news about a back-up feature appearing in Batman, DC Universe: The Source has now announced that we will start seeing a Two-Face spotlight back-up in the pages of Detective Comics.
  • Deadline tells us that Marvel has hired Saving Private Ryan screenwriter Robert Rodat to do a rewrite on Thor 2.
