There’s a lot that happens in the world of superheroes everyday, and we at Comic Hero News don’t have the ability to write up a full story about everything, as much as we’d like to. So, we bring you Speeding Bullets – for all of those pieces of news that are fired our way that are worth noticing, but don’t merit a full story in their own right.
- The first photos from Priest, starring Paul Bettany and Cam Gigandet, have started to appear online, thanks to JFX Online. Check out a pic of Bettany below, and head over to JFX Online to see the rest.
- True Blood‘s Revered Steve Newlin is moving off the small screen and behind the comic panel. Mike McMillan – the actor who plays Newlin – is writing a new comic titled Lucid for Arachia Press. McMillan spoke to MTV’s Splashpage about his upcoming book, and establishes his true geek cred.
- So, we know that Timur Bekmambetov has figured out a way to bring Angelina Jolie’s Fox back for Wanted 2 – but the big question is whether or not Jolie is interested in returning for the film. Anne Thompson reports that Jolie is currently reading the script to determine if she is interested. For the sake of Bekmambetov and Mark Millar (who wrote the original comic), I hope she is, because I can’t imagine Wanted 2 succeeding without her.
- It’s been kind of quietly chugging along, but the adaptation of Top Cow’s Magdalena is still in progress. Holly Brix (The Butterfly Effect 3: Revelations) has just been hired to write the script, and she talked to MTV’s Splashpage about the state of the project. Check out the interview below.
