This weekend saw a ton of set-photos get released for Marc Webb’s The Amazing Spider-Man, including our first looks at Rhys Ifan and Martin Sheen on the set of the film.
The first set of photos come from college student J. Anthony Hall, who posted a set of images via his Twitter account. What is most notable about these images is the first shot, of Rhys Ifan as Curt Connors, speaking to Andrew Garfield’s Peter Parker. You’ll notice Ifan has a green sock over his hand, presumably so they can mask it out and replace it with digital effects later.
After that, we have some on-set photos from Daily Mail, which focus on Peter Parker and Martin Sheen as Uncle Ben.
Finally, a few more behind-the-scenes photos of Sheen and Emma Stone, which come courtesy of Comic Book Movie.
The Amazing Spider-Man, starring Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacey and Rhys Ifans as Dr. Curt Connors, is set for a July 3, 2012 release.
