In my time writing for Comic Hero News, I’ve been able to post a number of interviews with the casts and crews of the DC Animated Original movies – and before we started this site, I was able to conduct several of them. So, it was a great pleasure to be able to sit down for roundtable interviews with the cast and crew of Batman: Under the Red Hood while at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. During the course of the interviews, I had the chance to chat up comic-creator and screenwriter Judd Winnick, Batman: Under the Red Hood director Brandon Vietti, the goddess of vocal casting, Andrea Romano, and producer Bruce Timm. We also got to talk to three of the stars of the film – Vincent Martella, who provides the voice for the younger Jason Todd/Robin, John DiMaggio who gave us a sinister and unusual take on the Joker, and Batman himself, Bruce Greenwood.
Check out the interviews where we talk to directors and writers, manage to insult the Joker, and find out why no one other than Bruce Greenwood gets to sit in the chair of the Enterprise.
