Marvel launched their “Point One” initiative last year, trying to release comics that would serve as a good “jumping on” point for new readers. Despite recently announcing “Marvel Now!” (which isn’t exactly a reboot, but is clearly a response to DC’s New 52), they have now released a new teaser image that reveals that the Point One titles will still likely be a part of the new Marvel vision.
The teaser asks us “Who will shape the future of the Marvel Universe?” while at the same time suggesting the answer is
Samuel L. Jackson Marcus Johnson, aka Nick Fury Jr. In other words, Marvel clearly has no intention of letting the connection between the Marvel films and their comics get any farther apart than it has to.
Clearly, we can expect more information to be revealed at Comic Con. Comic Hero News will bring you the latest from the convention as more is revealed.
