Casting details are beginning to arrive for FX’s pilot of Powers. Based on the comics by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming, the series focuses on two detectives – Christian Walker and Deena Pilgrim – who investigate homicides in a world populated by superheroes.
While we’re still awaiting news on the casting of Walker (an ex-Power himself), Deadline tells us that Lucy Punch has been cast as Deena. She joins Bailee Madison and
Charles S. Dutton in the pilot.
The pilot was written by Charles H. Eglee and directed by Michael Dinner.
