How can DC possibly follow up the success of Blackest Night? The mega-event that has dominated the DC Universe and brought the dead back to threaten the living? Well, if you know your Green Lantern Corps Oath, you know that the only appropriate partner would be Brightest Day.

Over on DC Universe: The Source, DC’s Dan DiDio revealed that 2010 will be dominated by Brightest Day, a 26-part, bi-weekly title that will tie directly in to both Green Lantern and Green Lantern Corps.

In a multiple-part interview, DiDio went on to discuss other books that will tie-in to Brightest Day, including a new Barry Allen-centered Flash title, written by Geoff Johns and illustrated by Francis Manapul, as he discussed here.

DiDio then went on to discuss how Brightest Day would affect the Titans. Not only will the regular Titans title be affected, but the new creative team of Eric Wallace and Fabrizio Fiorentino will also be handling Titans: Villains For Hire Special, where Deathstroke builds a new team of Titans. The team will include not only Deathstroke himself, but also the Tattooed Man and Cheshire.

To continue to tease, DiDio also revealed that Justice League would be falling under the Brightest Day banner, although he wouldn’t reveal who would be a part of the revised team.
