I would definitely have to say comics. The other things are nice, but they wouldn’t exist without the base that the comics provided them. I am actually hoping I’d win this, so I can figure out the differences in universes, since I am from the OLD old school Marvel Universe. :)
I would go with movies, as I don’t read too many comics. I generally rely on my friends to keep me posted on comic stuff. (And great websites like Comicheronews.com.) TV and video games are second and third.
I have to pick Comics. Movies tend to stray too far from source material and comics can speed through scenes which really slow down a film version.
Plus, Pretty pictures are pretty!
I like movies and video games. Movies are so mindless that you can enjoy them without thinking. Video games allow you BE a super hero. I just never really got into comics but I try :)
Comics all the way.
[...] UPDATEAnd our winner is David Dotson! Thanks to David and all of our other contestants for entering. The graphic novel will be mailed out on Monday. And if you haven’t already, go ahead and enter our next giveaways: Ultimate Spider-Man, Vol. 1 in Hardcover, available here. [...]
Definitely video games. Thanks for the chance to win.
I love superhero movies, although comics are a close second. Thanks for the giveaway!
Comic books are preferred but the movies are good, too.
I would go with the comics. I love the artwork of the comics.

I’d have to say video games and comics
Probably the movies. It is really cool to see the special effects they come up with and the casting, in general, has been really well done.
While comics are great, another format I really enjoy is audio drama. There are a few sites that do a great job taking a visual medium and transposing it onto the airwaves so that I can see it playing out in my head.
Have a great week!
Animated cartoons are my favorite.
I grew up on comics and still find them to be my favorite superhero medium.
Comics first, animation second.
I’m definitely old school when it comes to my superheroes. The comic book will always be #1

I’m definitely old school when it comes to my superheroes. comics will always be #1.
uh… I love ‘em all!
The feel of the comic (or novel) pages turning in my hands as I immerse myself in the story, the over-the-top boom of the THX blasting away all around the theatre, the child-like excitement induced by seeing my favorite characters come to animated life on TV, the pulse-pounding euphoria of web-slinging through a virtual NY and beating down bad guys; launching oneself off the Empire State Building’s antenna to plummet head-first towards the city streets below, only to lash out with a web at the last possible second and swing away…
yep… I love ‘em all!!!! (though, I’ve been playing Spider-Man: Web of Shadows here lately, so my video game description took up a bit more space than the others :) )
I think I would go with movies as #1, as long as they are well done!
Mine would be novels con5459(at)gmail(dot)com
I would definitely have to say comics.
I would definitely have to say comic books. They give a more detailed visual account of the superhero’s life and death. I also like the comic books more, because it is a form of art, and as an artist I can relate to them better.
Comics can go places that the other media just can’t, so yeah. Comic books all the way!
Tv is my fave.
Comics and videos-Walmart.
I would have to say that I get my superhero fixes from movies and TV because my vision is poor and it’s very hard for me to read the comics. The print is just a bit too small for me.
I used to read comics but I was a lot younger and my low vision then wasn’t even quite as low as it is now.
Comics, for me, with tabletop RPGs running a close second.
Comics for me. It’s the old school version I remember from when I was a youngster.
Comics, grew up with them and still like to old ones.
comic books are by far superior!
comics for me . i like the old ones from the 60s . the new art .just dont do it for me
comics by far
comics
My favorite would probably be movies. I enjoy sitting with friends and yelling during the exciting parts!! But I love them in all mediums. I have comics, novels, games etc and enjoy them all. Thanks.
i like the movies, like superman and spiderman :)
Comics are classics.
I like movies
COMICS. it’s what i started reading when i could barely read, so maybe that’s why it’s my favorite.
Graphic novels
Comics all the way.
My favorite is tv because there is a lot more time to develop the characters
batman mverno@roadrunner.com
At this point, movies, used to be comic books.
they still work best in comic books
i would like to say comics but in recent years movie adaptions have gotten a lot better and in a way have saved the comic book genre from bankruptcy, so i choose movies all the way
graphic novels ftw!
Comic books are still my favorite genre. I still remember the thrill of reading my first one and that first taste of super-hero action is still the best.
[WORDPRESS HASHCASH] The poster sent us ‘0 which is not a hashcash value.
movies and graphic novels.
I prefer the graphic novels. The Frank Miller series really won me over.
I love comics :)

I’d love to win this for my husband. He is a HUGE comic book fan. He has over 20 of those long boxes filled with comics. I’d say that would be his favorite, but he also loves the graphic novels, the movies and especially the art prints. Thanks for the giveaway.
Comics for me, and graphic novels comes close second. Then television. Lastly movies.
I like movies as it is more entertaining to me than looking thru a book. If you asked my DH though, he would say the comic books are the best(should see the boxes and boxes he has in my house–lol)
