We may be headed for a Brightest Day, but the trek through the Blackest Night is going to be long and difficult. Kyle Rayner nearly died, and his brush with a Black Lantern ring turned Guy Gardner’s lantern from green to red. The Central Power Battery on Oa has fallen. The Spectre has gone after Hal Jordan as a Black Lantern, and Jordan has once more been possessed by Parallax. How could things get worse?
