In the hands of a writer like Kevin Smith, it must generally suck to be Batman. Trying to balance a personal life as Bruce Wayne while dealing with the worst of what Gotham has to throw at you is bad enough – but then you also have to deal with the complications of having sidekicks, both former and current, meddling in your affairs.
