There’s a lot that happens in the world of superheroes everyday, and we at Comic Hero News don’t have the ability to write up a full story about everything, as much as we’d like to. So, we bring you Speeding Bullets – for all of those pieces of news that are fired our way that are worth noticing, but don’t merit a full story in their own right.

  • Last weekend, at the Big Apple Comic-Con, Marvel Editor-in-Chief, Joe Quesada, opined on the upcoming slate of Marvel movies, and Comic Book Resources was there to capture his thoughts. Not a lot of details, but a good overview of how Joe Q. is spinning things.
  • Willem Dafoe is well known to comic-book film fans for his role as Norman Osborn/the Green Goblin in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man films. But he’s also done a ton of other cool roles – including a stint in the upcoming John Carter of Mars as Tars Tarkas. Ain’t It Cool News spoke to Dafoe about some of the more awesome roles he’s played in the past few years – go check it out!
  • Superman Homepage has confirmed that Steve Bacic (X2, Blade: The Series, Flash Gordon) will be playing the Dark Archer in the “Disciple” episode of Smallville.
  • The later half of 2009 has been a rough one for the Punisher, and Marvel is about to throw him into the role of Frankencastle. To see how Frank Castle’s life is going to intersect with the monsters of the Marvel Universe, read an interview that Marvel.com did with writer Rick Remender.
  • Do you remember ReBoot? Well, so does Rainmaker, the people who made the show back in the early nineties – and now they’re rebooting ReBoot! Check out the trailer that was posted to YouTube.
