The Mystery of the New Batgirl Continues!

Right now, the two big mysteries in comics are “Who is the Red Hulk?” and “Who is the new Batgirl?” And while Marvel doesn’t seem to be planning to reveal the Red Hulk’s identity to us anytime soon, DC is posed to unveil the new Batgirl in two short weeks. (Ok, a week and a half, really.)
But they’re giving us a lot more hints than Marvel has regarding a certain red-skinned monstrosity. Through the DC Universe: The Source blog, we’ve already seen several preview images, and today they’re giving us a look at the first few pages of Batgirl 1!

Something I noticed – because I have to re-upload each page, I’m very familiar with how many pages they normally throw our way in these previews. Typically, we get pages 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 and 9. (5 and 7 are often the ad insert pages, so aren’t included with the previews.) This time around, we only got pages 1-4. So, I’m betting that Batgirl’s true identity is revealed early in this issue.
Even better, DC Universe: The Source has promised more hints on Wednesday. So, check back then!
