Bruce Wayne is dead (in theory). Former Robin, turned former Nightwing, Dick Grayson, is now Batman. Former psychopath son of Bruce Wayne is now Robin. And former Robin, Tim Wayne (formerly, Tim Drake), is now Red Robin, an identity created for Dick Grayson in the pages of Kingdom Come, which was then adopted by another former Robin, now the Red Hood, Jason Todd.

I think the Bat-family needs to start wearing “Hello, my name is…” tags.

In any case, the first issue of Red Robin was excellent, with Chris Yost and Ramon Bachs doing a great job of showing how Tim has been affected by Batman R.I.P. and Battle for the Cowl. At the end of the issue, we saw that Tim was being watched/targeted by the League of Assassins, and Ra’s Al Ghul.

Now, thanks to the DC Universe: The Source blog, we have a preview of Red Robin 2, where we find out more about why the League of Assassins is following Red Robin, and what they want from him. And if the saga of former-Robins wasn’t confusing enough, the Spoiler, Stephanie Brown, herself a former Robin, will also be appearing as a guest-star.
