  1. The Green Lantern. I think technology has finally caught up with the abilities the power ring is capable of displaying.

  2. Green Lantern is my first choice, Captain America my second.

  3. Yeah, Green Lantern would be a decent choice… and Cap is actually on the way… but my choice would be for an animated adaptation. Something to run as a late-night series.

and, although it’s already been done (badly) as a feature film, I think Daredevil would be an awesome choice for an ANIMATED show. You could do SO much more as well as such a better job with animation, and the DD title lends itself to such a medium. Much like Spawn did years ago, the show could be gritty and adult themed. of course, the animation would have to be REALLY good…

all of this stems from having recently read the Kevin Smith-penned “Guardian Devil”.

but, since this subject was about a “Film Adaptation”, I’ll have to go with everyone else (and my first mention)… Green Lantern.

  4. Green Lantern is in production as well, you realize.

(And no, I’m not entering to win the contest.)

  5. How about Hawkman?

  6. Dr. Strange! There have been a few adaptations but nothing on the level of the movies that have come out in the past few years for Spiderman, Batman, the X-Men and Wolverine. We need a really well done Dr. Strange movie.

  7. I can think of a few that are overdue for a watchable movie, but I fear how cheesy the CGI ring effects might be too much to want a GL movie. I think Hollywood should take a leap and adapt Paragon from Children of the Sleeper. ;->

  8. How about Scarlet Witch or Dr. Strange? Or Dr. Fate from DC?

  9. I think Green Arrow would be an interesting choice if the story can balance the heroics with his sensibilities of always sticking up for the little guy against evil conglomerates and tackling problems like poverty and drugs. It would make him stand out from regular superhero movies where they battle a huge super-villain / arch-nemesis. Hollywood should taketake a cue from the latter runs like Brad Meltzer’s or Judd Winick’s or even Kevin Smith’s. Also not forgetting to throw in a little from the Denny O’Neil – Neal Adams run or the Mike Grell Longbow Hunters mini.

  10. dr mcninja1 Chris Hasting’s comic would make a great movie adaptation and help tone down a genre that is being taken too seriously these days.

  11. I think they should make a “PITT” movie. That would be Awesome!

  12. [...] Ross painted Metal Men Collector’s Plate from the Warner Brothers Studio Store, available here, and coming later today, an Alex Ross painted Teen Titans Collector’s Plate from the Warner [...]

  13. Wonder Woman or the Invisible woman.

  14. Aquaman!

  15. I have been hoping that Captain America would soon!

  16. She’s a little obscure, but I love Avengelyne! I vote for Megan Fox to play her in the film.
    Thanks!

  17. J’onn J’onzz – The Martian Manhunter

  18. How bout one about The Spectre it has a huge potential for some big special effects

  19. The original Doom Patrol

  20. I think that Silver Sable and the Wild Pack would be a good movie.

  21. dr strange

  22. If Might Mouse counts, then my vote would be for him. If UnderDog made it, he should have his chance too :) :)

  23. Definitely Aqua Man. There was so much talk with him on Entourage, now I want a real movie!

  24. I am rather surprised they have not done anything with Wonder Woman yet!

  25. I agree with the lot who’ve said Green Lantern, but I wouldn’t mind if they made a Martian Manhunter movie~

  26. I would have to say Wonder Woman, but they have been in talks for over 3 years trying to get it brough onto the big screen. I’m also hoping they should make a hero movie about Cable!!! His story would be awesome to see on the big screen!!

  27. Wonder Woman

  28. The Green Lantern without a doubt!

  29. The Rogue!

  30. Cloak and Dagger!

  31. Namor !!!!!!!!!! for sure

  37. I’d have to go with Wonder Woman

  38. It must be Thundercats

  39. I’d say Green Lantern

  40. I think that Wonder Woman (starring some unknown girl) would be great. Captain America would also be fantastic. Frankly, I’ll basically watch whatever superhero movies they put out these days, I <3 superheros!

  41. BULLWINKLE ! ;)

  42. wonder woman mverno@roadrunner.com

  43. I would like to see the whole Justice League versus the Legion of Doom. With that many characters to fill, it would most likely cost a fortune to make.

  44. Cloak and Dagger havent thought of them for years! Loved em

  45. wonder woman seems the most obvious

  46. Thor would be a great choice! Even though they were kind of cheesy, I always loved the comics.

  47. Green Lantern all the way!

  49. Green Lantern – that’s for sure!

  56. Starman, the Jack Knight version.
